Just to add – I know that this is a film made by Facebook and I know that to many this will be objectionable. However, if Facebook is a way for Caldwell to finish this epic motherfucker of a project, I say fucking go for it. North Korea could sponsor him for all I care. Tommy Caldwell is a fucking hero.

And if he becomes a millionaire along the way, then good for him.

Actually was a bit surprised it was a Facebook vid. It’s tastefully done, wasn’t too in your face, and had some soul. Very nice. And holy crap does he look like his dad!

By the way, I’ve got a Tommy and Beth (back when they were together) interview I did for b.net, but I wasn’t that happy with it and never released it. They’d just arrived in town, and were dead tired from their flight. I felt guilty the whole time. Nice kids, truly. Just not the most interesting interview.
