    Having played around at the bottom of this route, I estimate that this is a 5.9 or 5.10 solo. The moves are relatively straightforward but having the stamina is something else. Not to mention the balls.

    Worth noting that Ash down climbed afterwards…

    Good lord! That’s most impressive. Downclimbed yet? In trainers with no chalk (how buildering should be)?! Amazing. Good style, speed, and focus. Best thing I’ve seen in a long, long time.

    Man that looks frightening. I’ve done a few climbs like that before – it’s always terrifying when your foot slips. Funny story – once when climbing a tree my foot slipped and I instinctively clung to the tree to avoid falling like a drunk squirrel and ended up with a nice gash to show for it. http://tinyurl.com/6qyfe2o
    It’s a lot scarier when it happens on a building though. Let’s all share scary stories of buildering mishaps!

    Cut hands (metal edges are sharp), staph infection (due to a buildering scrape) which I left way too long and almost died, and another near-death experience which I’m too embarrassed to go into (I was in a rush due to incoming police cars). That about covers it for me. If we ever put together a “buildering 101” or FAQ, having a current tetanus shot will be top of the list.
