I found this chimney the first day I arrived in London. It’s right across from the hostel I was staying at. This allowed me to get a reasonably early alpine-start. I found a backpacker milling about in the hostel lobby and recruited him to take some photos. I wanted to make a sequence out of it, so I gave him specific framing instructions: have the entire climb in the picture, don’t move the camera, and take about 5 or 6 shots. This is the result. A monkey could have followed better instructions. He also shot my entire 36 exposure roll of Fuji Velvia on this. That’s expensive shit.
