I’ve been considering going digital, mainly for cost and convenience sake. Developing and scanning film for the internet sucks. There’s another advantage as well…
My uncle David once showed me a Polaroid of some marijuana plants he grew back in the 70s. He was quite proud of them, as they stood well over head height. Smart guy my uncle, I learnt a lot from him: how to make gunpowder, what kind of fertilizer to use for bombs (it’s gotta be 30-0-0 but not the new stuff with the plastic coating), and to use a Polaroid camera when documenting illegal and/or embarrassing activities.
Makes you think though. How much could you get away with before the developers freaked and called the police? Do the workers sign some sort of non-disclosure agreement when they hire on? Anyway, they don’t seem to care much about buildering photos. They don’t even look impressed.
