Cross Canada Via Freight Train

Port Coquitlam rail yard. (p) rog45
I leave today for my three week trip across Canada via freight train. I'll be filming the adventure and hope to meet some interesting folks along the way. Likely there won't be any updates for awhile, maybe a brief blub from time to time to let you know how I'm doing. Check the comments of this post.
If you haven't read about my previous train hopping experience, check it here: http://www.buildering.net/node/801

I've always wanted to do
I've always wanted to do that, but like buildering it seems like security is a bit less forgiving in the States (based on what little I've read and heard). I can't wait to see the photos/video/story when you're done with your adventure. God speed!
Good luck, bra. Keep safe.

Hey all, I'm in Preeceville
Hey all, I'm in Preeceville Sask. Took a slight detour off the main line to visit my grandparents and aunt. Back off tomorrow heading out east. Been great so far. Couple close calls with the rail cops, lost a water bottle switching trains once which left me pretty dehydrated by the time I got into Sask, other than that it's puppies and rainbows.
More later, I gotta use this valuable internet time to research the rest of my trip. The East is gonna be tricky. A lot of the trains split off to the south, heading into the USA. That's a big no-no. They've got X-Ray sensors at the border (seriously).
Sounds like an awesome trip.

The government however,
The government however, proposed to build a railway linking the Pacific province to the eastern provinces within ten years of July 20, 1871. Macdonald also saw it as essential to the creation of a unified Canadian nation that would stretch across the continent.AIRPORT LIMOUSINE

Now in Toronto, just wandered from the rails. I'm stinking and dirty and in an internet cafe looking to book a hotel and clean up a bit. Hot and muggy here. Got many many stories from this last segment of the trip but not enough time. The highlight/low-light: being abandoned 60 km from anywhere. Absolutely middle of nowhere...no roads, no towns, just me and the mosquitos. You should see my boots. I wore the tread right off of them. Thought I was gonna die out there.
During the process of moving
During the process of moving or relocation we need to ensure safe transition of our personal belongings. If you have a car go for car transport.Because it is difficult to drive a car yourself.I have come across the site with very good information about auto shipping online quote

In Moncton now. Was a total idiot, I should be in Halifax. I didnt switch trains when I knew I shoulda, and was left sitting in the yard. Cant wait 24 hours for the next train, running out of time, taking the Via passenger train to Halifax in 20 mins.
Yee haw. Back in Vancouver.
Yee haw. Back in Vancouver. Flew out just in time to miss Hurricane Bill. I'll be doing a full write up eventually. I'll be wanting to add frame grabs from the video I shot, which will take some time. A lot of time. I shot 16 hours worth of footage and am planning on making a documentary out of it. That all needs to be transferred from tape to digital. Anyway, you'll see it when you see it. Tis good to be home. The first thing I did, besides shower and get out of these clothes, was go get sushi. I think I lost about 10 lbs over the trip. Time to start putting it back on

Go for a kebab, about 3000 calories in even a medium sized one. Go chilli sauce and no leaf for extra fat points.

Nova Scotia was great. Got to do the tourist thing for a few days before heading back. Lots of beer and a bit of sailing. I will eventually make it out to NYC, just not this year
I once took a Freight train
I once took a Freight train to Canada and it was so much fun, that trip was really memorable, I visited an exhibition where racers from around Canada showed off their new cars, I befriended a guy there who redesigned Used Cars to give them a very stylish and hot look.
I love it when spammers
I love it when spammers really make an effort to try and integrate their adverts into a thread.
Cash basis financial
Cash basis financial statements were common before accrual basis financial statements. The "flow of funds" statements of the past were cash flow statements...
