biggest best thing climbed
Back in california the tallest thing I climbed was this two story bank of america(not quite the best place to avoid someone calling the cops). It was only about 40ft tall and pretty easy, but I had fun.
So, what is the tallest/best thing youve ever buildered? ![]()
lions gate bridge towers.
yeah I gotta go do those. right now. let's go. now. NOW!

That Science Dome looks pretty bad ard! and I'd like to do the traverse on the bottum of that other building.

Where all is that at? Down here on the panhandle in florida, theres no good arcitectual design. The only thing we've got is like this drug store, bridges(which I mostly set up a swing on), and large construction sites. Me and my friend joe just went out recently and took some buildering/parkour photos, that I should have up in about a week. So you can finally see how much we kick ass, or lack there of.

Vancouver, BC, Canada. Yeah we've got some pretty cool buildings here. The traverse on the bottom of the library is fun, but the best part is getting up above it. They put a roundish cement block thingy all the way around, to prevent (normal) people from climbing higher. But it just makes it funner for the climbing types.

Check the industrial part of town. It's usually a little safer on the bust-factor... and there are lotsa chimneys. Climb some chinmeys with ladders on them first, cause that'll give you a good taste of exposure while soloing. Or signs. There is a big toys-r-us sign across the street from me (i'm looking at it right now) that is about 7 stories high. I warm up on it before hitting the streets.
The more I builder, the more I realize just how much stuff is out there.

without a rope ... science world is kinda scary. got part way up the ball and decided it was too much for me. gonna have to try it again with a bigger set of nuts.
The last night that I buildered with Guy, we went up Science World using a couple pieces of webbing... clip one... unclip the other. Actually, now that I think of it... it was in fact only one piece of webbing. I remember being a little sketched

Wait so you guys all use safety stuff. Well since there is not many places in Eaton Rapids, MI that are climbable my heighist was the second storey of a building.
Totally depends on the climb. Even the great Alain Robert uses safety gear once in awhile (though he'd never admit it)
Hey, lots of people for Vancouver!
I did the Law Court on Robson, under the rain... One way up, an other way down. But don't get caught!

Tallest does not necessarily equal best, but the tallest thing I've climbed without gear... Koerner library at UBC... about 4-5 stories i think?
I've also been up some fairly tall smoke stacks, and cranes (for crane swinging), however these usually involve climbing a ladder, so I'm not sure if that counts.
With a rope... Science World is really fun.
Best would have to be the Oceanography problems (see gallery.... ubc), they are just really really fun.
